Gunshots echoed along with more crashing, the sounds of agonized screams from titans rang as we stood like sitting ducks around inside the cell━helpless since they left us here to rot, probably get crushed the building itself. Eren is out there, alone, fighting against thousands of Marleyans, also with Reiner and the other titan holders. He's probably along with Floch and other Jaegerists, but for sure they are no match against Marley and its soldiers.

We looked in shock when we saw Onyakopon panting outside our cell, holding the keys, "Hey, what's going on out there?!" I exclaimed

Immediately, he went for the lock and fiddle it with the keys, "The Marleyan army's airships are attacking us from the sky, plus the Armour, Jaw and Cart," He panicked, "Eren's doing his best out there, but it's only a matter of time before he goes down!"

"You have to help us! We have to help Eren!" He cried

As he opened the door, Connie angrily grabbed his collar before shoving him hard on the wall, "Who the fuck is 'we'?! This is your fight! Did you think we'd just follow your lead?!"

Armin calmly placed his hand on Connie's shoulder before speaking, "Let's hear him out,"

Surprisingly convinced, Connie lets go of Onyakopon's collar as he drops to the ground. The dark skinned man continues to explain the whole situation with Yelena━he explained that he doesn't know about the wine and euthanasia plan and the reason they went here is to develop it and defeat Marley. They only did it because they believe that the island has a future.

"You have to believe me," He cried

".. I believe you," Armin said as we looked at him in surprise, "I remember something you said. Everyone exists because someone wanted them to, including the Subjects of Ymir," He said as he offered his hand to Onyakopon

"I believe in you, too. But what's the plan?" Jean asked, "Helping Eren and Zeke means backing the euthanasia plan," He adds

"No, we'll put a stop to it," Onyakopon answers

"Then, what are we supposed to do?" Connie exclaimed as I pulled him back by this shirt

Onyakopon answered that the power of the Rumbling can only work as we look at him with wary. It's still dangerous to use the Rumbling since we still don't what it can do and the possible aftermath.

I turned to Mikasa, "What do you want to do? Save Eren?" I questioned

She contemplated for a but, "I do. But that must be because of what Eren said," She looks down at the scarf, "This isn't my own will,"

Armin looked at her, furrowing his eyebrows, "I think that was just a lie Eren came up with," Armin said before his eyes widened, "You.. don't think Eren wants Eldians to stop having children, right?" He questioned

I shook my head in response, "No. That doesn't sound like Eren would do. He wouldn't go that far,"

"Then why didn't he stand up against Zeke and Yelena?" Connie interjects

Armin turned to us, "Because he doesn't have to! He's the one decides what to do with the Founder's power!" He exclaimed, "When Yelena brought him that idea, he had no choice but to play along. If he went along with it, then he could use the Rumbling to protect the island!"

We stood there━pondering if what Armin was correct. At this point, we aren't sure what Eren is thinking or his plan. If he played along with Yelena and Zeke, only for him to get the power of the Rumbling, then this might be our greatest trump card. The question stands: what is gonna happen if we manage to release the Rumbling? Is it still safe to use for the safety and protection of our island?

"Look, at this point, we have no other choice. We can't be just sitting ducks here━waiting for our deaths. Eren may be a reckless bastard, but I know some of us here doesn't want him to die. Right now, we aren't fighting for him, but for our own safety and for Paradis to be untouchable for years," I announced

Onyakopon nodded, "Let's go!" As he called that, everyone ran upstairs━along with the Blouse family

"If Eren's hiding what he really wants, then why did he push us away?" Mikasa ponders

Me and Armin both stayed quiet, having the same thoughts as Mikasa just as we reach the upper floor, where the higher ups are locked in. As we arrived at the floor, a trainee━probably a member of the Jaergerist blocked as he pointed his gun out, "This building is under the authority of the Jaegerist. Any unathorized━" Out of anger, I grabbed his collar before giving him a death glare

"Listen up here, trainee," I scowled, "We're trying to save your precious Jaeger here, so are you really gonna throw hands just to stop us?"

The trainee quiver in fear as Connie barges in and orders to open all of the cells. One by one, all of the higher ups exited their cells━including Commander Pyxis and Commander Shadis. After every releasing every soldier, the Commander Pyxis ordered those who are not wearing the black bands have the priority to fight.

"And all you drunkards who fell for the enemy's trap are with me. We will engage the invaders on the front lines!" He commanded

Everyone started to gear up and prepare for battle━including us, who are able to use the limited ODM gears. As I set up everything at my body, I grabbed the dagger that Eren used to stab me and extra sets of thunder spears. We stepped up to the rooftop, only to be greeted with Yelena━their arms spread as they watched the Marleyan airships crash landing in flames above them. My eyes widened as I scanned around the currently situation, fires erupted around the city, buildings crushed by the titans, gunshots rang from soldiers━it was pure war and chaos.

I caught a glimpse of familiar coat of fur, ".. Uh, why is Zeke here?" I wondered, "Captain Levi would never set him free,"

"Hey! What happened to Hange and the Captain?!" Jean cried

Without turning to us, Yelena spoke, "I think it's safe to assume Zeke defeated them,"

We all gasped at their statement━thinking of the impossible that Captain Levi will let Zeke go, despite the fact that he has a deep grudge on him.

"Let's join forces with the Jaegerists and help them reach each other!" Armin stepped in as we jumped back when Yelena loomed over the blonde, with a deep scowl on their face

But she soon replaced it a grateful expression, "Give them all the assistance you can,"

"Yep, something really wrong with them," I thought as we activated our ODM gears and fly over the city to join the battle. The fight almost felt like hours as we all our might by using the thunder spears, blades and guns. It's the least that we have but with much effort finishing off the Marleyans. Luckily, a shot from the Marleyans themselves dropped Zeke to the ground, paralyzing him for a while. I planned on not using my titan for this, because I knew it would draw many attention from them.

I landed a thunder spear inside the house, causing an explosion within before landing on a random rooftop, "The houses are full of enemy soldiers!" I shouted

"Fall back! We can't do anything here!" Jean ordered before falling back

Flying around the area, trying to find more groups of soldiers, my heart dropped when I saw Eren just beating Porco like a pulp on the ground. The Armour titan got a hold of Eren━holding down on the ground after being shot as we saw Zeke slowly getting up.

My eyes widened, "The fuck?! How did he survived that?" I exclaimed

We watched as he sucked a deep breath, but he hesitated when the small figure of Gabi and Falco, along another blonde Marleyan soldier. It looks like they tried to reason something with Zeke to not use his scream as I took my my chance to flying down to Porco. I hoped for the best that he didn't died inside his titan since his head and nape are severely crushed, However, a loud scream echoed and a light flashed before my eyes as the force threw me away.

As I opened my eyes, a horrid expression plastered on my face━titans stomped inside Shiganshina and dust covered the place. My breathing started to pick up, my anxiety was kicking in again as tears prickled in my eyes. It has been years since I had my last anxiety attack, I thought I got over it but my past always haunts me. A titan spotted me as I immediately flew out in fear, landing inside a house.

"Sh-shit, I need to calm d-down.." I muttered to my house as I perched myself on the wall. I pulled my legs towards my chest before wrapping my arms around it as I focused to steady my breathing. "Man, I wish mom and dad are here.." I wished, sweat dripping from my temple to my jaw and as soon as I was able to breathe well, I stood up from my spot and gaze outside for a possible escape.

A groan from a titan caught my attention as I saw a titan looming over the beaten body of the Jaw titan. Squinting my eyes, my heart dropped when I saw Porco outside his titan. Without hesitation, I jumped out the building and flew over to his location━avoiding as much titans as possible. The titan was about to grab him when I fired a thunder spear on the nape before pulling the trigger. An explosion erupted as the titan fell to the ground. I landed next to Porco as I gasped at his state━half of his head was removed and bleeding, his ginger hair and uniform was disoriented.

"Porco, we have to go! It's too dangerous here!" I cried as I grabbed his shoulder

He turned to me as his remaining eye widens, "Maya.. wh-why are you h-here?" He questioned

I almost forgot, Porco never knew, "Porco... I'm sorry, but I'm not your wife, Maya," I confessed, "I'm Mia Ichinose... A devil of this island,"

His shoulders slumped down as his eye prickled with tears, "Why... why do people always has to betray me?!" He cried as I looked at him, curious, "First.. my brother.. deceiving the army to ma-make a warrior out of a loser... and now you! A devil who slithered in Marley to make a fool out of me!" He glared at me

I flinched at his cold stare, "But isn't that what you did to us?" I scowled, "Reiner, Annie and Bertholdt... they betrayed us as well.. because we were devils by blood. I treated them as my own comrades! We were just getting our revenge.." His eye widened

We sat there━in the midst of battle, titans lurking around every corner, "But I'll be standing by your side. I don't know what made me feel this way... but now is not the time to be picking sides, because there is a much bigger war coming,"

The ground shook as we turned to see multiple titans coming after us. I stood up━with the dagger in my hands as the titan grinned down at us, "We━I have to get you out of here.. Even if I'm the devil!"

With that, I sliced the palm of my hand as light flashes before my eyes. Muscles, bones and veins grew out as the lanky arms of the Howling titan stood on its ground. Muscles from the cheekbone to the jaw slits three holes as the titan let out a battle cry before jumping into actions.

Sharp claws slashed the pure titans' faces and bites off their napes as Porco look at the Howling titan, astounded. He realized that this devil doesn't wanna do harm, despite that she has one of the 10 titans. He watched as it kills all of the titans━blood splattered everywhere and titan bodies fell to the ground. After the Howling titan finishes them all off, it snapped its attention to Porco, causing the ginger to flinch in shock. Slowly, it crept its way to him as its mouth opened widely above him. The jaws closes in him as Mia's titan kept him inside its mouth, before fleeing the scene.

In matter of seconds, a bright light came from in front of the wall as all of the walls fell, revealing millions of colossal titans. Mia's eyes widened in shock as the colossal titans started their march to stomp over the world━along with a giant, skeleton titan. The atmosphere turned red as the Howling titan resided at the side with Porco still inside of the titan's mouth.

"What... what is th-?"

"Hear me, all Subjects of Ymir.

My name is Eren Jaeger, I speak now to all Subjects of Ymir through the power of the Founding Titan.

All the walls of Paradis island have came apart and every one of the Titans buried within the have begun their march.

My purpose is to protect the people of Paradis Island, where I was born and raised.

But the world wishes for their death.
It will not stop until it has purged the Subjects of Ymir from this world.
